A cultural publication

Discover museums, neighborhoods, businesses, historical sites, bookstores, restaurants, artists, and cultural experiences that deserve to be seen, remembered, and shared.
What I explore
Five threads I keep returning to — the history, culture, and community that shape how I see the world.
The landmarks, movements, and quieter histories that shaped who we are.
Institutions and archives preserving the work of Black scholars, artists, and communities.
Corners and corridors where community, memory, and creativity have lived for generations.
Bookstores, restaurants, and makers carrying culture forward as a daily practice.
Essays and conversations on the people and places that deserve to be remembered.

Boundless & Black began as a personal journey — a way to learn the stories, places, and contributions that were missing from the history lessons I grew up with.
The more I read and traveled, the more I realized how much had been left out. So I started writing it down: the museums, the neighborhoods, the artists, the everyday places carrying our history forward.
I'm not a historian. I'm a curious reader and a careful listener — and this site is an invitation to learn alongside me, not to be taught by me. Pull up a chair. There's so much more to see.

My Mission
Boundless & Black exists to explore, celebrate, and preserve Black history, culture, and community through travel and storytelling.
I seek out the stories, places, and people that are too often overlooked, helping readers discover a richer and more complete understanding of our shared history.
Through museums, neighborhoods, bookstores, restaurants, cultural institutions, and conversations with local communities, I document the stories that deserve to be remembered.
